David Adjmi

Playwright

David Adjmi received the Tony, Drama Desk, New York Drama Critics’ Circle, Outer Critics’ Circle and Drama League awards for Best Play for Stereophonic. Other plays include Stunning (Lincoln Center Theater), Marie Antoinette (Soho Rep, Yale Rep & A.R.T.), 3C (Rattlestick), Elective Affinities (Soho Rep & the RSC) and The Evildoers (Yale Rep). David was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Whiting Writers’ Award and the Steinberg Playwright Award (the “Mimi”) among others. His critically acclaimed memoir Lot Six was published by Harper Collins, and two play collections, Stunning and Other Plays and Marie Antoinette/3C are published by TCG. He is a proud alumnus of Sarah Lawrence College, the Iowa Playwrights’ Workshop and The Juilliard School.

Original Songs and Orchestrations

Tony nominee for Stereophonic (Best Score, Best Orchestrations); Oscar nominee for Spike Jonze’s Her (Best Score); Grammy winner for The Suburbs (Album of the Year) with his then band Arcade Fire. Other albums with Arcade Fire include Funeral, Neon Bible, and Reflektor. His most recent album is Will Butler + Sister Squares (Merge Records). Though he has collaborated with a wide range of artists across many genres, this is his first play since high school.

Justin Craig is a Grammy-nominated record producer, composer and music director. His work on Stereophonic earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Orchestrations. KY born, NYC based. In 2014, he was musical director of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.
